Get in touch

You can always get me by email at stephanie dot domet at gmail dot com. I I can’t promise you’ll get  a speedy response, but I’d love to hear from you. You can find me on Twitter and on Facebook.

In Halifax, you can find Homing and Fallsy Downsies at fine purveyors of books, such as Bookmark on Spring Garden Road or the King’s Co-op Bookstore at the University of King’s College.

FallsyDownsies

On the internet, you can sometimes find them at that big box store’s website. But you can always order them online directly from Invisible.

Hi Steph, probably too late now since you are gone but do you still need a house sitter. I know someone interested. Happy Holidays and writing.

    Hi Stephanie,

We met last week at your place for Kev’s listening party, which was a hoot! I forgot to mention to you that I’m also releasing an EP produced by Don Mackay and wondered if you might take a listen and maybe write a few words on it? It would be great to get some feedback and maybe have a quote to put in my bio. I am promoting the release with a tour this September from Guelph, ON to Halifax, and I could really use the support of the CBC. I could either send you some MP3’s or drop a copy by at your place, I’m in the hood…

    Thanks Stephanie!

Recently (within the last few weeks) you conducted a Live Interview with DAVID CRANE and RANDY TELFORD (Bards on Bikes) that I would dearly love to hear… Can you forward this interview to me, or tell me how to go about obtaining a copy of it?

    Many thanks!

  6. I just ordered your book which I didn’t know about. So excited to get it and read it. Yay!

Hello charming radio person… I was listening to your show today and i enjoyed it very much. the segment about the pictou pulp mill was really good and you had that poor little environment minister squirming hehe… BRAVA!
the segment about the halifax indie scene circa early nineties made me smile from ear to ear!! i used to crowd surf on top of a seven person “crowd” to those bands when cafe ole was on barrington way back in the day… and was hoping to GET MY HANDS ON PLUMTREE’S SELF TITLED ALBUM. I was thinking that maybe you might point me in the right direction. may you guys have something in the cbc archives?
    Anyways thanks for the show!!
    I LOVE THE CBC !

The news of Jian’s affliction is very sad as it brings up so many memories of our own past abuse, and of so many friends that were violated. I am 70 years old now, and it certainly brought up some past experiences that I have buried for so long. In some weird way, his behaviors have brought the subject of women’s abuse to the fore. We can just hope that it will enlighten.
Thank you Stephanie for being vocal.

Picked up Fallsy Downsies in Charlottetown the other day and as soon as I finished The Back of the Turtle I started reading. I’m loving it, can hardly put it down. I can hear what Lansing Meadows sounds like, it’s so evocative of the Canadian music scene. Just thought I needed to tell you. Thanks!

  10. Hello Stephanie…Anthony Morse from Berwick here…I’ve never met you but I have had indirect contact a couple times…I had a ‘one song in a row’ when I asked to hear The Eagles ‘Take it Easy’ as a favorite summer song a few years ago as well as a ‘brush with fame’ relatively recently when I described a ‘brush’ with David Letterman last January…nevertheless…I just wanted to express how I enjoyed listening to you every day for the last number of years…as a farmer it was nice and comforting to know that there was always something I could count on…you and your great insights and ability to not back down from asking the tough questions…

P.S. If you are ever in need of top quality fresh strawberries look us up at Morse’s Farm Ltd on east Main St in Berwick…not to be confused with Morse’s Farm Market…and I or my wife Linda will hook you up
