Invite me over. Are you in a book club? Is your book club reading one of my books? I want to visit your book club. If, that is, your book club wants me to visit. If you’re in Halifax or the surrounding area, we can easily make this happen. You can email me and we can work something out. If your book club is elsewhere, we can connect via Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, or FaceTime, or whatever new video conferencing app has been developed by the time you read this.
And if you aren’t in a book club, but you do want to host a reading in your home, we can make that work, too. Get in touch if you want to discuss such things!

I forgot to mention to you that I’m also releasing an EP produced by Don Mackay and wondered if you might take a listen and maybe write a few words on it? It would be great to get some feedback and maybe have a quote to put in my bio. I am promoting the release with a tour this September from Guelph, ON to Halifax, and I could really use the support of the CBC. the segment about the halifax indie scene circa early nineties made me smile from ear to ear!! i used to crowd surf on top of a seven person “crowd” to those bands when cafe ole was on barrington way back in the day… and was hoping to GET MY HANDS ON PLUMTREE’S SELF TITLED ALBUM. I was thinking that maybe you might point me in the right direction. may you guys have something in the cbc archives?

The news of Jian’s affliction is very sad as it brings up so many memories of our own past abuse, and of so many friends that were violated. I am 70 years old now, and it certainly brought up some past experiences that I have buried for so long. In some weird way, his behaviors have brought the subject of women’s abuse to the fore. We can just hope that it will enlighten.

Hello Stephanie…Anthony Morse from Berwick here…I’ve never met you but I have had indirect contact a couple times…I had a ‘one song in a row’ when I asked to hear The Eagles ‘Take it Easy’ as a favorite summer song a few years ago as well as a ‘brush with fame’ relatively recently when I described a ‘brush’ with David Letterman last January…nevertheless…I just wanted to express how I enjoyed listening to you every day for the last number of years…as a farmer it was nice and comforting to know that there was always something I could count on…you and your great insights and ability to not back down from asking the tough questions…
